Learn all things American & Swiss Meringue Buttercream with Dalal of Sweets of Paradise!
Techniques covered in this class:
- Overview and demo of making Dalal's signature buttercream recipes showcasing the difference between American and Swiss Meringue styles.
- How to colour your own batch of buttercream to the perfect shade and fill piping bags.
- Intro to the most common piping tips for decorating with a visual guide to take home.
- Techniques for decorating 6 cupcakes with step by step demonstrations and guidance.
- Overviews on storage, packaging and further troubleshooting for common issues.
All cupcakes, tools and supplies are prepared in advance. Each participant will leave with 6 gorgeous cupcakes in bakery packaging, a copy of Dalal's buttercream recipe and a piping tip guide. You'll also receive 20% off of any in store purchases the day of the class at our supply shop!
Classes are held in the Cookie Couture Studio at #60, 1331 44 Ave NE Calgary and are scheduled for 3 hours, although they can go over or under depending on the pace of the group. Complimentary coffee and tea is available, please arrive up to 10 minutes early to get settled in.
Please note that classes are non refundable but can be transferred to another participant for the same date and time. Please let us know of any changes prior to the class. Seats are only available for ticket holders.
